Create a Room or Building

To design a simple room for your bathroom, click here. To design an entire building for your bathroom, click here.


Add Showers and Tubs

Decide where you want your bathtub or shower to be and drag-and-drop it into your room from the Directory. Choose from corner showers, in-wall showers, tub and shower combinations and tubs by themselves.

 

Position it by dragging it around in 3D, blueprint or overhead views. Hold in the shift key is snap-to causing problems.

 

Drop In-Wall Showers on Walls. If  facing wrong way right-click and choose Face Other Side.

 

Resizing Tub or Shower: by using the alt or shift-alt keys and dragging the shower or tub. You may also right-click it and choose "Set Dimensions..."


Drop in Bathroom Furniture, Toilets, etc.

Bathroom Furniture, toilets, urinals, bidet's and other bathroom objects may also be dragged in into your project from the Bathroom Directory.


Add Sinks and Cabinets

Porcelain sinks, vanities and cabinets can be added to your bathroom. For detailed information see Cabinet Design.


Create Reflective Mirrors

Reflective mirrors can be created on the wall above a sink or cabinet in this way:

 

  1. Choose Material from the Build menu and draw it above the sink or cabinet.

  2. Right-click the material and set reflectivity to 85-100.

  3. Use Molding from the Build menu to create a frame around it.


Applying Wall and Floor Coverings

You can add tile to the floor, wallpaper to the walls and Formica and other materials to countertops by dragging them from the directory. See Applying Materials for more information about how to do this.
